LadyDominaX -> Strange turn-ons (5/25/2007 9:16:52 PM)

I have a fascination with people who use words well.  My biggest "secret crushes" in university were on my Linguistics professor and my Chaucer prof, both of whom were very well spoken British gents.  When a man has self-confidence and speaks clearly and with passion, it stirs me up.  If he can manage it in multiple languages and writes as well as he speaks, it's a sure fire way to trigger a case of the screaming thigh sweats.
Does anyone else out there have an unusual, possibly even geeky turn-on?

Yeah, i do...but geez...i'm not sure i should say...its kinda creepy to me alittle LOL.... There was an asst. pastor at the church i used to attend...he had such passion and was so well spoken and down to earth...he was amazing....and he was very quick witted like me LOL so we used to "feed" each other...it was off the hook...LOL...we were/are both smart asses by nature... i like that in a person... like steel on steel...it sharpens each other....

HydroMaster -> RE: Strange turn-ons (5/25/2007 9:29:24 PM)

Ooh, I have a sort of fan.  Any particular stat filled rant standing out?  That ship is the only outlet I have here for my psychotic behaviors.  Can you imagine what would happen if it spilled out into the mainstream of the boards?.....utter chaos.

goodlittlegirl28 -> RE: Strange turn-ons (5/25/2007 9:31:03 PM)

why don't you break it down for us... go on, you know you want to crunch those numbers.

HydroMaster -> RE: Strange turn-ons (5/25/2007 9:53:56 PM)

lol, you want me to predict the chaos?....here are my predictions on the outcome of the dragon escaping the ship.

100%, I will be thrown off the site...with a 50% chance no one will even notice
97%, the  rest of the loonies on the ship will spill out causing violence and bloodshed to erupt
96% there will be a riot in LA.
96.3% there willl be a tear in the fabric of time and space
85% subs will respond to even less of my emails
74% sambamanslilgurl will go on a rampage screaming I told you so to every member of CM
70% Several slinter cruise ship cells will appear all over the boards, creating an uber fleet which will engulf all of CM
58% all of CM will sign a petition to have the dragon returned to the ship
47% dogs and cats will live in peace and harmony
42% trolls will run amuk even more as I no longer will have the mental stability to stop them
38% all smilies will explode in a hale of smiley shrapnel
23% fish will swim in the air and chickens will live in the oceans
17% absolutley nothing happens
12% CM starts charging per post
5%  another goose flies into Fabio's head while he rides a roller coaster
2% Starbuck's stops making Frappuccino
1.8% Hydro stops citing statistics in his posts

So you see it's very important that the dragon has a ship to keep him occupied.  Or all of this may or may not occur at some point in the future.

I refuse to list any strange turn on's on the chance I may incriminate myself.

JpnsTigerrrlily -> RE: Strange turn-ons (5/28/2007 1:08:40 AM)

LadyD, I also have the same fascination with people who use words well. They caress my ears. :) At a munch I attended, a gentleman was there, that the moment he opened his mouth I was aroused. It turns out he sang opera and  his voice was simply divine. What else... Irish brogue...and simply competence. Call it old fashioned, but when something's broken and a gentleman can fix it with confidence...it's a turn on!

Level -> RE: Strange turn-ons (5/28/2007 5:26:05 AM)

I don't know if it's strange, but one of my biggest turn-ons is a woman's voice. A certain type.... soft, liquid......hey, someone turn the air up!

LeMis -> RE: Strange turn-ons (5/28/2007 7:46:39 AM)

a person who is handy, whether it's mechanically inclined or culinary inspired and anywhere in between, gets my motor purring, lol
it's weird (to me anyways)  [:D]

MySweetSubmssive -> RE: Strange turn-ons (5/28/2007 8:20:28 AM)

I once said that I could be truly happy if I could hear three good words a day.  I love good grammar and writing.  Yes, I am a language whore.

I also get all wet for someone who is ethical.

A British accent makes me melt.

m0rgan -> RE: Strange turn-ons (5/28/2007 8:30:50 AM)

well now girlies, upon my word, i cannot imagine why you are not all beating a path to my door!
just in case any of you like indians, my middle name is geronimo!!

MySweetSubmssive -> RE: Strange turn-ons (5/28/2007 8:31:30 AM)

I had a friend who was similar.  She lived in London for six months in a state of semi-orgasm.  (not a bad way to spend six months!)

While both British and Irish accents will get me going, a Scottish accent will melt me. I do prefer the cultured voice, though. Patrick Stewart's voice is *dreamy*. I also have a hair fetish. Long, soft hair that I can run my fingers through for hours, and/or a furry body.    *****purrrrrrrrrrrr*******    It's the only thing I miss about my ex. *lol*

VeryMercurial -> RE: Strange turn-ons (5/28/2007 10:49:28 AM)

I don't find being attracted to geeky men as being strange.
I think they are one of the greatest untapped treasures around.
I like the quiet, smart men with glasses, myself.
I have always prefered my men to be the quiet and understated type.
