ORIGINAL: lewdy What's wrong with blocking people? The facilities available why not use it. We are discriminating all the time in who we choose to chat to, why is it considered offensive I don't consider it offensive, and can see that doing so may be necessary and beneficial. Given current threads, it is possible the context of blocking that led to this question is to chew someone out and then block them to prevent an opportunity to respond. In this context, I find blocking unimpressive. If a conversation reaches such a point, I think one should simply stop responding or end the conversation with words rather than to send a flame and then block. I have never blocked anyone on the forums, at least. It is my goal to achieve the mental capacity to keep my information channels open and not allow a poster to get to me. In other words, I would rather rely on myself to ignore a post as needed. Cheers, Sea
