this is for those whom have physical collars, if you don't and don't believe in them please don't judge. do you ALWAYS wear your collar? do you take it off? if you didn't wear it would your Dom/Domme get pissed at you? here are my answers ********** i do have physical collars, one my Dom currently has with him and one i have with me at home they are not like play collar and formal collar. they are just my collars. now i do have a sensitive neck at times, meaning anything on it can make me a little nutty and cause me to tug like crazy on it. so for that reason i stopped wearing mine. plus i was working so wearing it to work wasn't really an option especially since i worked on phones and the rings would make noise when i moved. when its put on me NO, the only acception was if it really bothered me when i slept then i had permission to take it off. YEP They did. even threw at me that a sub that i didn't like, there were some very valid reasons, would wear her's to bed if They let her(course she didn't live with U/us)

do you ALWAYS wear your collar? He has me wear a collar and a silver necklace. I wear his collar when I am instructed to and the necklace is worn at all other times. do you take it off? The collar is locked and only he is allowed to unlock it and take it off. This of course would exclude emergency situations. if you didn't wear it would your Dom/Domme get pissed at you? Since I wear it at his pleasure, he does not get pissed when he removes it. If it were to be removed without his permission then it would signify that I have removed my consent to his ownership and removing my consent ends the relationship. I wear an eternity collar 24/7 it never comes off nor would i want it to.

No I don't always wear my collar. When we were full time D/s (I also happened to be self employed) I did wear it all the time. When I wore a leather collar or such, I took my collar off on my own cognizance when it was in danger of being damaged - showering, bathing, swimming, etc - and ONLY when I was alone. At all other times Sir was the one to remove my collar. I tried to minimize times that I would have to remove my collar (i.e. shower once a day and not be taking hot baths and having to remove it when it wasn't necessary). Sir never got pissed at me for not wearing my collar, but I never removed it for trivial reasons. He did get pissed at me when I went out and bought an allan wrench for my eternity collar and removed that. (That was related to trouble in the relationship and the full time D/s ending.) That was more for the fact that I did it to be petty than anything else - I wasn't removing it because I was having a hard time wearing it or it was causing me to feel like I was choking or anything. ~E

i have a silver bracelet that i only remove when absolutely necessary, and a leather anklet collar that i wear at other times. the leather one upsets my husband, so i dont always wear it. i sometimes have issues with things round my neck (bad memories) and Sir understands that. kitten who counts herself fortunate in the Sir who chose her

Yes I do wear mine 'round the clock when I can, I too have sensitive skin and sometimes it needs a rest lol. I had to take it off at the airport Monday & will again have to do that today. Nope he would'nt get upset over my having it off, for us it is a symbol & after 7 years of being his our bond is deeper than a mere 'collar'. I do however absolutely love my collar! If he gave me a diamond choker (oh yeah!!) it would still be a symbol but it is one that I love wearing. When I am away from him it is a tangible 'thing' that I can touch. Sometimes I need that, being able to touch something physical that says I am his. Jeez now I want a diamond collar [;)]

I wear a heavy brass chain with a heavy brass Griffin charm. I wear that 24/7. It never comes off. Sir might also put on a formal leather collar for around the house, or scene wear. Sir also has a chainmail collar that i can wear for SCA events or scenes. We have some kink collar His uses for different scenes. But under them all, i wear His 'Griffin' all the time. ~ann Griffin's girl

Only when it's needed (which isn't often). if you didn't wear it would your Dom/Domme get pissed at you? No, he doesn't get pissed about things like that, there are so many other things in life to worry about. here are my answers

If I were to remove my slave collar, it would indicate something seriously wrong within the relationship - likely wrong enough to end it. For us, the slave collar marks a stamp of his property. Removing that stamp would indicate I did not want to be his property anymore.

do you ALWAYS wear your collar? Yes, every day. Its a heavy 6mm silver rope of sorts, so its quite appropriate wherever I go, work or play. do you take it off? I take it off at the airport as needed, or to henna my hair. Metal does not react well with henna! if you didn't wear it would your Dom/Domme get pissed at you? Pissed? I don't know, I think he would certainly ask about my reasoning, and react accordingly.

My Domme has given me a bangle, ring and silver necklace none ever come off i also have a collar which i wear occasionally as i'm allergic to the metal on it and my neck breaks out in a rash so i mainly wear it when doing tasks or we are together. As my Domme always says it's not the collar round your neck that makes you mine it's what's in your heart that makes you mine. Symbols of Ownership are great but it's what's felt inside that's truly important( in ML and my opinion anyway) [sm=smile.gif]

Greetings all, This girl wear a physical collar 24/7 and only takes it off with a girl's Owners permission, and with a good reason. This girl wouldnt even want to think about angering a girl's Owner, so it stays on and only comes off briefly with a very good reason. This girl loves Masters collar, it shows that even when this girl isnt with Him, He is still in control of this girl, and the steel is a good reminder that this girl is a slave and should be only what a girl was destined to be, a humble slave. Well, I was pretty young at the time, but the whole collar thing hits some deep buttons for me. I absolutely wore it all the time, if I could. Got one made from galvanized steel so I could wear it in the shower. The only times I ever had the thing off was during some argument when she'd decide she "didn't want to do this any more". Of course, whatever the disagreement was, I'd cave imediately and do whatever it took to get back in her good graces - at least until the last time, when she said she'd had enough, I agreed, and I handed her the collar. Never wore one after that.

Play collar is leather, everyday is a silver chain with a heart pendant. The chain broke once so now I always take it off for play. I don't wear it to sleep or in the shower. I put it on after I brush my hair in the morning and before I brush it at night. It's gotten tangled in my hair and I don't want it to break if caught in the brush. I'm also not wearing it today since it was 90 and I spent the day at a horse show. I'm sweaty and dirty and something on my neck in this situation is not comfortable. But then he knew from the beginning that I have trouble with things tight on my neck. I never could tolerate chokers or turtlenecks.
