*waves shyly* Hello there all. I'm Bloodberry: 18 years old, in Alberta, Canada and completely fresh into all of this. Over the past few weeks, I've been getting more and more interested in learning about BDSM lifestyles (especially D/s and round-the-clock Master/slave relationships), and I must say, I like what I see so far. The people are far from the scary predators many people in vanilla-land describe (most of them, anyway), the idea of being a submissive either in part or full turns me on very much, and the articles I read on the matters are all very reassuring that the lifestyle will be great if played safe. I'm looking forward to talking to people through this site, either on the boards or through PMs, and I hope eventually it leads to my first real experiences. The only thing that I can honestly say turns me off so far is I've been getting a lot of offers from doms who are twice my age or over. It's rather disconcerting having a man older than my father asking me if I want to be his sub. ^^;;

As for more about me in general-- I'm a big anime fan and this September I'm starting university, majoring in Japanese. I also like drawing (am looking to expand my skills into being able to draw sex/kink/bondage/etc.), watching stand-up, online roleplaying (mostly the kind with plot, but have done purely sex RP before), reading freethinker and atheist sites/blogs, and laying on my bed for long periods of time letting mind mind wander through everything from deep thoughts to fluffy daydreams to (you guessed it) submissive fantasies.

So... yeah, that's me. ^_^

Welcome SBB! Don't worry about all those middle-aged men, they crumple pretty quickly if you just whack 'em with a ruler.

I like some anime but am not particularly knowledgable, the only 'erotic' once I've been fond of is the first Angel of Darkness. There are other fetishy cartoonists of whom I am fond but they're primarily Western.

^^; I keep telling them that they're nice, but not for me right now. I think I'm too shy/afraid of being seen as bitchy by the community to just whack them and tell them to piss off.

I haven't seen much hentai myself, and I'm much more into the regular stuff. There is, though, a new anime on TV in Japan right now called "Kore ga Watashi no Goshujin-sama" ("He Is My Master") that some people on here might find amusing. It's not an explicit show and isn't about Master/slave relationships (so far, at least), but it is about a rich young man with a uniform fetish who decides to hire live-in maids to keep him company. And of course when his first two applicants are girls his age, he designs the most revealing maid outfits he can get away with making them wear on the job:

Good luck on the other side of the CM house (personals), take your time and say nicely NO THANK YOU! and then be done with those you have no interest in. Here on the forums we like to discuss life and the lifestyle.
