Worst experience (but not entirely devastating in hindsight) was also full of surprises. I had bought a collar for my boyfriend/sub. It had been crafted by a metalsmith and the lock I had engraved by a jeweller. I was to give it to him on his birthday. A couple of months before the big day, he disappeared. No phone, no contact. Nothing. Then, after some months passed, I received a phone call one morning from a woman who not only claimed to be his lover, but also his owner. Positive experiences consist of being in contact with good people over the years who are always willing to share their stories and support. openmindedslave, I applaud you for wanting to help a friend, and for attempting to show her that it might feel bad now, but in spite of how demoralizing a failed meeting might be, there are always positive experiences that keep our spirits alive. ~MR
