OK, this is off topic discussion, and I would have to say that is an understatement. It also seems at times that more people wnat to talk about off topics than 'on' topics, which is fine. You can only talk about gear and apparel, ask Master, switches and whatever so much, and there are only so many events. Important categories of course, but OTD seems to be the fastest moving forum of the bunch, along with polls and random stupidity.
Perhaps there should be some subcategories :
Bush
Other politics
Sex
Things nobody at all cares about
The economy
Arcane knowledge of heretics and such
Personal problems not related to health
Extremely radical ideas
Science and technology (including computers)
Music art and poetry
Things that belong in other categories
The last one's a doosie. (deusy, dousie, doozy ?) I'm pretty sure that saying refers to the Deusenberg, the extremely expensive car of the past, so :

The way it is now, you go looking through the list for a thread you are in and something catches your eye. That causes some thread hijacking IMO, as there is something else in the front of your mind, at least for me. Oh, let's not forget :
Pets and other animal stuff (not sex related)
Ergo the need for :

Of course I am sort of joking, lighten up, but this post doesn't rate the humor category. In reality, it actually might be a good idea to have a politics category though. Alot of people want to talk about it. Some avoid it like the plague, others only get in the mood sometimes.
Of course this could go on ad nauseum :
Stupid drivers
The fucking establishment
Rebels
Taxes
What is this growth on my leg ?
Television (shows)
That thing way in the back of the freezer
The weather
Cooking
Then again, maybe it's just best to leave things how they are.
