Recently, on NPR, he answered such a question with "No plans ever again to do it. And the fact that I don't give the so-called Sherman statement is not an indication that I'm trying to ... be coy about it. I'm just being candid."

Status: offline 		I do not think he will run again, but I think he might win if he did. He has shown an in depth understanding of the most crucial issues facing our country (global warming and Iraq). I wish he had been in office when 9-11 happened because obviously the last thing that we needed was to be distracted with Iraq... but that is just my opinion.

Funny thing, I was luke warm on him until the speech he gave prior to the invasion of Iraq... he was one of the few sane voices that spoke truth, and I will always admire him for that if nothing else.

Status: offline 		As time goes on, I think there's less chance he'll run again. I do believe he'd have a very good chance at winning; no other Democrat gets the base as fired up as he does, and with the disenchantment on the right, he'd have a hell of a shot.

Status: offline 		.....seems to me, from my foreign perspective, that Al Gore is enjoying the latitude that not being part of the government allows him. So i doubt he'd bother running again, there's Oscars to be won
