There's an added scene after all the credits run that continues the story line of the movie

I watched the movie and thought it was pretty good...but that's just my opinion.

But, but, but....  The giant squid ate Johnny Depp!  We have to know if they can save him!

The imagery was great. I especially liked Shipwreck Island. Depp wasn't so much the lead character as he was in the previous 2 movies but there were scenes where he simply "filled" the screen with multiply views of his range & diversity. LOL . Keith Richards was in two scene & they were worth a giggle. How's Mum? hahaha

GAWDDAMMIT! I'm pissed about hearing of a scene after credits.... the damn cleaning crew came in & forced people from their seats & we were actually staying because it seems every time we have left a movie before credits ended... we missed something. Oh well, I'll be getting the DVD when it is released.

We saw it yesterday afternoon.

I thought it was OK, but went on too long.
UM M12 thought it was brilliant.
UM F7 thought it was boring.

Whatever. It was better than being stuck in the house on a cold, wet, windy day in the British summer.

Now what was disappointing was that as an unexpected extra treat for the UMs, we went to KFC afterwards. They loved it. Personally I was wondering what the big deal was in selling oversalted chicken, though the chips (fries) were much better than MacD's.

i have to agree - neither the 2nd and 3rd Pirates movies were good as sequels (even if they did film both at the same time).  don't expect a a 4th Pirates movie.

I highly enjoyed it.  But I like letting my imagination run wild!

And as a rule of thumb should aways stay till the end of the credits. Exspecially on the Pirates movie then Have had something at the end of all three.

The first one was full of fun, I enjoyed every minute of it. I've missed the second, and would like to see it. This new one, the third, I thought was a stunner visually, but I had a hard time hearing the dialogue, especially Geoffrey Rush's. It seemed the sound effects department over-rode the dialogue. I also had a hard time buying Elizabeth as a leader. She was so screechy and pouty...not what I'd call 'in charge'.
They must have spent a fortune on the special effects....wish they'd spent a little more time with the plot development. Ah well, what can you expect for $8.50?

Ok I have to say I liked it. The effects were pefect and so was the script. Considering I sat through all Three LONG Ass LOTR rinsg movies POTC 4 was perfect. There were some dragging moments and sure we didn't see Cpt Jack til way into the movie AND a kid got hanged in the opener but overall a good movie. AS for a 4th I say bring it on. My thinking and a few others I have talked with is that is should be back story on Jack and how he came to be the rum swiggy lusty Cpt. he is.  I can't wait for it to come out so I'm pirating the pirate movie, ironic no?

Compared to say Xmen the Last Stand this was a good movie. Much better than 3 as far as story content goes. I could have lived with a bit less Elizabeth but hey it still worked out. Was anyone surprised by the Tia Dalma/Davy Jones plot? I had it figured out early on havign had suspcions in DM'SC.
