After your "brief apology" that you have sent, don't bring up the issue again. And don't ever offer money to anyone, especially your dom.

Right now my owner is having financial problems. First, when I started offering my money (not much) he got angry, because he is not proud of his situation. After apologizing, he calmed down. He asked me never to offer him money. Five months ago, when we got together, he was doing some illegal things. And that was his way of living. He gave all that because of me, because he knew how much I cared for him and worried for him. So actually Im partially the reason he has financial problems right now. We agreed I give him some money for his birthday, which is really soon, after I begged him. I did it because I love him and because I know how hard it is for him to give up on all the easy money he used to have, just because of my worries.
I suppose that if you just apologize and convince him that this wasnt an insult to his manhood, he will calm down. Only if you have such a strong affection for him that you are able to compromise about such a thing. A lot of men react like that when concerning financial problems. All about the ego, as LA said.
