I think it is, but is preditorial even a word? As in the cat's behavior was very preditorial , measured stalking almost. Hunting the little animal through the tall grassses.

OR as a feeling. Like I am feeling preditorial today. Or her Desires have a distinct Preditorial nature to them.

And if it is a real word how do you spell it? Maybe Sissy can tell me, since he seems to be the authority on correct spelling around here lately:)

"Predatorial" is in the Oxford English Dictionary (with a single example, from 1781), so as far as they're concerned it's a real word--but they also mark it as rare and obsolete, so you're better off saying "predatory," unless you want a deliberately jarring effect.

hmm, ok so it is a real word. Preditory just doesn't fit my vision of what I want the word for Preditory Desires just doesn't sound as good to me or as descriptive as preditorial.

Preditory just doesn't paint as good as a mental picture in my mind as preditorial. I can see someone behaving preditorially. The slinking the skulking the animalistic desires......

I'm pretty sure anyone would understand what you mean if you said "predatorial desires." But it's PREDATORIAL (and PREDATORY), not PREDITORIAL. The verb is "to predate"; the noun is "predator."

Well that is the beauty of words - you can use them as you wish to paint the picture you want.

If you google the word PREDATORIAL I think you will find that people do use it.
