ive got a few questions for all the male slaves (and females if they would like to comment) who have been tattoes by their masters and mistresses about ownership tattoes. my mistress is thinking about tattoing the female sybol on my right ass cheek with the word "SLAVE" across it. now for the questions: does it hurt? does it add anything to the relationship? will it make me feel more submissive? (this is a plus) thanks in advance for the help.

As much as a tattoo normally would. I hear it's kinda painful but nothing terrible. Needles give a tremendous endorphin response for the actual pain they invoke.

Depends on the relationship. If it means something to you, then it will.

Maybe, only you can say. If you don't feel it truly within yourself, no amount of markings and symbols will get it out of you. Also, no amount of symbols will keep you from having a bad day and periods you don't "fee" submissive at all.

But if it's meaningful to you and an expression of who you are, then it will continue to do so.

Just a general reply on tattoos (my partner doesn't like tattoos, he let me get mine becuse it was -very- important to me)

They hurt, but for me they didn't hurt nearly as much as I'd been told they would. My avatar is my tattoo. It took about three hours and didn't hurt till the last 45min or so, which was filling in the centeral spirals. I think it hurt b/c the skin was already tender.

My endorphins when on and off. So I got a rush, it faded, it hurt, I got another rush.

I loved it :)

hello i have never posted an answer before but i will try it... :-) i also had designed a tatoo of a heart with a whip and Master and i both got one for christmas! mine says salve across it and His says of course... MASTER across His! does it hurt? no! alittle in the first few mins but .. not as much as say .... a good cropping! :D its more addictive than anything else.... !!! for me any way!

I have a really nice tribal like thingy on my left thigh, with a rose entwined in it, and at the bottom of the tribal thingy the initials "MK" are worked in very artfully. I got it after we were married and we designed it together, with the help of the very talented tattoo artist who did it for me. I have four others too, which I had before I met Master.

The outlining was the most painful really, the filling in didn't bother me as much. I WISH I could have gotten an endorphin rush LOL It either felt like an Epilady or just plain hurt... and I just got real testy when it started hurting too much! [:D]

I have a great white shark curved around my shoulder, with a black rose in its teeth with the words Master RS above it and the S curving down into a whip. I love it, and it means a great deal to us both. I also have the kanji symbol for slave on my right ankle. Regarding pain...I didn't find most of my tats painful, but the intensity will depend on the location. Anything close to the bone will be more intense. Butt cheek should be pretty mild if there is any padding there at all...lol.

Just remember...removing a tattoo is reportedly 1000 times more intense than actually getting the tattoo....and much, much more expensive to have done.

Y'know, everyone kept telling me that and it was -exactly- the opposite for me. Over my spine and shoulders it didn't feel like much of anything except buzzy. Over the soft fleshy bits, it hurt like a bitch.

I have two tattoos. Neither of them hurt TOO much, and this is coming from an admitted wimp. The butterfly on my shoulder hurt a little worse than the kanji for "dream" on my left breast. Maybe because the butterfly was the first one I got.

Ended up having an endorphin rush from the second one and it was really fun, though I was spacey the rest of the day.

My friend's Master requested she tattoo, "Property of *his name*" on her butt. She went out the next week without hesitation had it done. He released her two weeks later.

But he was a jackass in the first place.

Does wearing a collar make you feel submissive? Do any outward adornments affect your inner attitude? If so, then maybe a tattoo would make you feel submissive. I've never been in the situation before, but it's interesting to think about.

I may be a dominant, but I hope you won't mind if I add to this discussion. I've been thinking about the subject of ownership tattoos as well this week and perhaps you might find some value in them.

Just to play devil's advocate, a tattoo is intended to be a permanent mark. Is this going to be a permanent relationship? If you both deeply intend to be mistress and slave forever, I say go for it. A tattoo can be permanent in a way that no wedding band or collar can be. Even a metal collar can be removed with a good set of bolt cutters. If you ever want to get rid of a tattoo you have to either undergo extensive treatments or get a cover up tattoo over it.

I'm all for permanent marks as long as the relationship is going to last. Maybe she is choosing this tattoo as a way of displaying her commitment to you? Ownership marks such as tattoos or brands can be a very intimate way of showing that commitment. It certainly can make you feel more submissive if it has a significant personal meaning for you and preferably, both of you.

A tattoo is painful but bearable. They would not be so popular with vanilla folks if they were excruciating. If she wants the tattoo on your right buttock, that shouldn't be too hard to bear. Generally speaking, the closer an area is to bone or the more nerve endings an area has, the more painful it is. The buttocks have a good amount of tissue and relatively few nerve endings. You may find the pain meaningful, like a rite of passage. If you can look at it like that the pain will be a positive thing.

The thing about tattoos is that they are there for ever unless you choose to go through the process of having them removed.

If I had a tattoo for every time I was in love, Id be an icky lookin' gal.

I was told once, wait five years, then decide to have your tattoo or marry or have your baby.

I waited ten for my tattoo, but it's almost exactly the same as the first day I knew I wanted it.

Still, I agree.

This past year, I hung the design up where I could see it every day. I still liked it after a year, so here it is.

The tattoos are someting that we both have agreed upon and would be done with good taste. Not anything huge or that i would regret. i already have one tattoo and Master wants to give me an ownership tattoo, something we both would agree on but Master would have the final say obviously. i agree though make sure it is something you really want and are okay with because they are very painful to get removed.
