I always find stuff like this fun. Did a bit of digging, and I believe I have her figured out:

"Halverson, a lawyer, lost her job this year as a law clerk in District Court because of orders from Gerald Hardcastle's wife, Chief District Judge Kathy Hardcastle, who said a change in Halverson's position was needed."

She's apparently running a one man war on the system and anyone connected with it.

In one way, you have to give her points for tenacity. She actually won an election for judge without any real money behind her. But clearly she has got to go.
