What are the rules and etiquette? How is a submissive suppose to act?

Emily Post has some good stuff. The rules of etiquette are the same as they are at any vanilla function, unless the host has specified otherwise. If your dom has specific rules, he should communicate those to you. But otherwise, don't worry, just do what you've always done.

I think this is the best clear and concise advice you're going to get. Most parties have different rules. Those rules your dom and yourself need to heed by or not go at all.

The #1 rule is to talk to the party host(s) and find out what their specific rules are. You'll never unknowingly break the rules that way. ~stef

One of the main rules is do not touch any one elses propertyw ith out permission. Including people and stuff. Do not attempt to involve yourself interupt or participate in on going scenes with out being invited. No food or drinks sept water n sometimes not that in play area;s Play area's are for play and keep all discussions in the social area. Lots of places inforce safer sex rules, so penitration requires condoms or gloves. Most places don't allow messy play like blood play piss play wax play. bec ause those play types are not to hygenic in pub places.

cool. i appreciate your advice EmeraldSlave2. that definitely makes me feel more comfortable with the idea of play parties and the etiquette. i mean my Master is not taking me to one for a while, until i am trained enough in His opinion for that.

I only go to play parties in the hopes of playing some. Other wise to me there's no point, but plenty of people go just to watch or to meet new people. There's no general rule that you have to play at a play party.
