Such a deal... Monty Hall I'm not.. but a member of the tribe I am. Way out here in Arizona.. seems to be alot of "kink" people, but very few are jewish.. OH I can cook a brisket.. but my chopped liver is to die for. and that cute little redhead that speaks hebrew and yiddish.. Oy, what I wouldnt do to have her in front of my cameras... Yep.. a jewish photographer.. I crop of an inch.. before I know how big it's gonna be. Kinkyjewishcouple... Welcome to CollarMe.

So interesting to run into other Yiddish/Hebrew speakers (I only really speak Yiddish and understand Ladino really well but my Hebrew is very lacking.) --- I wonder if there are more Ladino speakers out there???? BTW, I understand about prefering to play with people of the same or similar cultural background. It makes the unspoken communication so much easier to understand. I wonder if that's why I get along with Arab and Latino subs so well.

I'm having a very hard time believing that anyone born after 1950 really speaks Yiddish, but maybe I'd be surprised.

There seems to be a rather large movement of younger Jews learning Yiddish. Most of the young'uns I know personally who are learning are Workmen's Circle Punk Jews.

Dom here: My family gave up Yiddish such that the father doesn't know it, and the other part of the family was in Israel, so they only speak Hebrew.
