I use y'all.  If I didnt, my customers would never know what I was talking about.

The thing I cannot stand is when people are speaking and use filler words becaue they dont think as fast as they speak. Um, like, uh, yeah and... things like that drive me batty.  It is even worse when that translates into how they write!

And my pet peeve, when you are trying to look impressive and you cant be bothered to type out a 3 letter word. I have gotten emails where the word you was "u" but the long words that described his fetish were all spelled out.  So if you can take the time to write out all about what you want me to do to you, you can take the extra keystrokes and put the "yo" before your "u" while you speak to me.

Oh!  The Um's and Uh's make me crazy as well!  Along with "Like" used as a filler word.

Thanks, I feel much better IRREGARDLESS hehehe of the fact I occasionally use them in a joking manner. Only occasionally.
BTW, what is wrong with irregardless? It has always been in my lexicon [8|].

When it comes to contractions I learned by saying it aloud in my head so I could practice the proper ones. Usually when I type I do not use them because I cannot reach the dang ' key easily hehehe.


Ir is a prefix that indicates something is not.  Irregular -- not regular. 
Irregardless is on the same scale as "I could care less" because you are, in essence, saying "not regardless of..."
Since I haven't yet been to bed and it has just hit 6:16 AM here, this may not make sense to anyone but me, but irregardless is a double negative.

That and "you know what I'm saying"? I ordered a strawberry Margarita in a restaurant.  It came back not prepared to my liking.  I asked to server to take it back for a re-do. 

All she  kept saying, "Well, that's the way they make it here, know what I'm saying?"  She used the phrase after ever sentence.  I told her "No. Maybe you can explain it to me. Like, doesn't the bartender have a BLENDER???"

In the right context, I don't see how "Do what?" is that bad.

Another one that bothers me, and it might have been mentioned, is "could of".  I grit my teeth every time I hear it.  It doesn't even make sense.
