ORIGINAL: mistoferin I really enjoy my time here on Collarme. I appreciate the efforts of all who make this site possible. It's reliable, it's here at my disposal whenever I get the urge. And best of all....it's completely free. I know there are a lot of others here who spend a good deal of their free time here, so I assume they enjoy it too. So why then when the Mgmt of Collarme makes a request and asks us all to follow it, do some folks find that such a difficult thing to do? Isn't that kind of like telling them you don't really give a shit about their efforts, their policies or their wishes? I know that most people here try hard to stay within the guidelines...and I will admit, some days that is pretty hard to do. But it seems like when a certain known troll pops in an awful lot of folks here lose their self control. That troll really wouldn't come here if they weren't getting a response. It's kind of like when you were a little kid and your big brother was picking on you. You went to your Mom and her advice was to ignore him and he would quit. Ignore Jessyka and it will quit. Well, as one of the violators, I will say that I had seen that stickied post by XI, but had never experienced that troll. [There are always new drivers on the road] Seeing no then-current thread by it, it was a bit of a mystery to me. I Mod in an MMORPG, and so when I saw that thread, titled as it was, my 'defender of the underdog' reflex was provoked (not that my participation was useful). What ya wanna bet, that the troll in question knows when to time their outbursts, in order to catch the board whilest our defender is (necessarily) absent? That one does come across as a Seriously Disturbed Individual, however... Perhaps a serious investigation to discover the person behind the character, then a word to local authorities, might be in order. Simple enough thing to do, in this day of "Homeland Security" et al. Just Saying...
