i have in the past, and still ahev now .. really good friendships with people i also have sex with. It works just fine after you get into the habit of being clear and open about it.

I dont need romantic interaction but i do need physical contact

Well, like others have said, if you can keep the emotional level under control, it works fine.....I've had vanilla friends with bennies.....still actually have one, he's seen some of the implements I have, so far, he hasn't said anything about them. We actually worked together once, and there was always the chemistry boiling under the surface of our friendship, so it was almost a natural progression for us...oce we didn't work together anymore....in fact, he's out here now, he was the one who convinced me to try to get a job with the department......the job didn't work out, but I don't blame him...wasn't his fault the department i worked for had serious internal issues. You just need to be honest with each other, set soem ground rules, just like any other sexual relationship.
