I've been asked to shoot some photos for a ~new~ Male Dom. Although I know we've hashed this out before, this is your chance to offer suggestions. I'm all ears................... [:D] Tell me what draws you, what you find erotic. Maybe He will use one if he decides to join us here on CM.

I really enjoy visceral imagery. Painting, moreso I suppose. The artwork and writing of William Black (Local Chicago artist and lifestyler) has always touched me. If it appears extreme I'm probably going to love it.

Good eyes and a good smile. No body shots please lol. No 'posing' with weights or obvious attempts to prove he is sexy (or he is too sexy for his shirt). Natural environment.

For me it can change from person to person. I do always want to see their eyes. What really turns me off is the guy posed with his BMW (or boat or airplane, etc), or with his BDSM toys all dressed in leather.

To me the big thing is that the picture should match and compliment his personality and profile. I don't need to see them all dressed in leather etc, but some kind of context is nice. If you want people to take you (at least semi) seriously as an authority figure then some small effort needs to be put into how the Dom presents himself. So I guess I would say it really depends on his personality and "style" of bdsm. But keep it within limits like mentioned above. I don't really need to see a picture of you and your car, unless thats a BIG part of your life.

There was a pic of this Dominant here on line a while back and I cannot remember his name but his photo certainly made a few drool..His pic was a side view of his face in black and white and he had a hat hanging low over his forehead..can I just say YUM!!...Tempting

Candids.. something shot in the mids of doning everyday things... playing with the dog playing basketball in the front yard. Someting that shows you as a human. Something natral.. candids are almost never posed. Magik's slave

Clothed, not shirtless (or pantless!). This may sound obvious, but one that is in focus! There are a lot of fuzzy photos out there on profiles! Clearly showing the face, and smiling or at least looking friendly works best for me. Sunglasses make me think he's hiding something. No hats...if he's bald, show it!

If it is for a profile picture, definately clothed. I have to echo the other replies here. As much as someone may be seeking a dom/master, I want to know that they have life interests outside of this lifestyle. I want to have a relationship that includes all the silly mundane vanilla stuff too (like playing frisbee in the park with the dog). If I see a picture with him all dressed up in his finest leathers holding a whip in his dungeon, it just gives me the impression that this is all he is looking for someone for. That is, of course, just me and not what I am looking for. I'm sure there are some that think that is just grand, and that is great for them, not for me.

Waist up, kind of a brooding look into the camera, or a nice warm smile. I love pics in black and white most of all. Hopefully will get some done of myself soon :>

i can tell you what drew me to Daddy's picture ...it was a full body shot in a natural setting (on the beach at the ocean) and his smile ...in the picture, he seemed calm and relaxed to me. what drew me to my secondary, the sparkle in his eyes ...they're even more dazzling up close and personal.

I just love an honest, open looking picture. One that shows his personality, be it with a smile, or just the look in his eyes. I want to see something there that makes me want to not only read his profile, but that draws me into writing him. This has actually happened to me before, so I know it can be done.
