i'm not sure where to put this... but...
is there any way to know why a Profile image (from the http://www.collarme.com/processor.asp page) would be rejected?

Or.. maybe it's not being rejected... but... i've tried three times to "upload" a picture from my harddrive.... i find it.. and upload it.. and **i** can see my picture in place of that placeholder image... but then... a few hours later, my picture is gone... and the placeholder picture is back.

So.. i'm assuming my picture is being "rejected".
But why?
The picture is really a picture of me. A picture i took of myself... outside... admittedly it's just my feet and lower legs ~ in my Birkenstock sandals ~ is there some rule i'm breaking? Are only photographs of faces allowed (though i've seen people with face photos with their eyes blocked out or photos of people from behind)...? so.. i'm confused?

Are posting just pictures of feet not allowed or somethin'?

umm if it was rejected they should tell you. Try posting another picture or something and see if it stays.

I posted on this in The Lounge as I had the same problem, pics that had been accpeted and that were on my profile for weeks were removed and when I tried reposting them I was denied... I did get a mail saying they were denied but not why and a query I sent asking has still not been answered.

If you read the post some have answered and it seems you have to have main part of your body in your main pic..... yes, some seem to get round this but guess its hard to catch them all and am sure some arent bothered as a pic of legs isnt really offensive.

Was it that you immediately looked to see if it was there?

An image must be verified first - if they don't meet requirements(see TOS) then you will should be notified you image was rejected - but it may take at least 24 - 48 hrs for an image to show in any case.

i see what the trouble is (i didnt bother to check my email before).. apparently pictures of feet are not allowed as main images... This was the email message:

The attached photo you recently posted on collarme.com was not approved.

Reason: This photo may not be used as your primary photo. It may (or may not) be approved as a secondary photo.

~guess i'll hafta try a different picture ~
anyways! thank you everyone here for responding and helping me at least figure out where i should check for the rejection reason. ^_^
