Status: offline 		It's interesting what you can see in your life history with the tint of one subculture or another.  For instance, just the other day I was remembering my favorite high-school Halloween, where a bunch of girlfriends and I got dressed up, trick-or-treated, then went to RHPS.  I decided that year to go as a goth.  Not just a goth, but a goth goddess.  i had a veil I made myself, the whole nine yards.  Well, one of my other friends was dressed goth, too, but more industrial.  Once we were all dressed, we decided it wouldn't do to have two goths dressed up trick or treating with no relationship, so I told her "You can be my minion, since I'm the goddess" to which I got "yes Mistress.

And yet, when I first started exploring the scene I thought I was purely sub.

Anyone else have experiences like this?

I tried very hard to be the submissive christian wife to my husbands, but especially to the first. Looking back, I see that the only time I really got anything constructive out of him as far as doing stuff around the house or decisions made was when I barked orders at him. Go figure.

Status: offline 		hehehehe... I am still having flashes of memory, where the color of what was happening, even as far back as my pre  teen years is making tons more sense now! 

Would you believe that as a preteen all my sexual fantasies where of this other world.. where I was a slave expected to obey any and all who commanded me?
I only learned about the Gorean stuff a few weeks ago! I laughed sooo hard. 

My first real relationship was D/s.. beautiful thing it was.  At the time, I had NO idea.  Just knew he was wonderful and strong and I obeyed him out of love, dedication, respect, and admiration. 

Go figure.

Status: offline 		Looking back over my life, I still find it strange that other people did as I said. Most of the time, I was supposed to be the follower, no power, and yet, even the people who were in charge listened when I said something. Even today, when I am at work my co-workers and my managers look to me for leadership.

So strange.....

Would you still like to be a submissive Christian wife to a husband if circumstance was more favorable?  (Such as, things got done.)  Or have you come to perfer your stance as a Master?

Also, could you go back to trying to be submissive, or have you found your nature to be more rigidly dominant?
