I don't see the big deal about weight control.Anyone can lose weight and keep it off ,not major secret how to do it or the need for a dom standing over you counting every calorie that you just ate.Just push away from the table leave some on your plate and in the first place take a smaller portion.Eat more veggies, drink more water and to to walk 30 minutes a day,be structured and the weight will so pass away...bounty

actually Sir weight loss and control is not so easy for many people. there are people who have been overweight all their lives, where it's simply encoded in their genes, and in order to lose any significant weight they must take drastic measures. then you have those like myself, who have never been overweight. it's a struggle for me to lose a single pound, because being slim already, the body rebels against the loss of any body fat. especially since my Master requires not simply a specific weight but a specific body condition (toned and fit, not weak and anorexic), and the exercise i do is naturally going to build some muscle, weight loss becomes that much more difficult.

I guess this is more what i am seeking.  I don't think i need someone standing over me with a clipboard.. but i do need encouragement and direction.  Its really really hard to do even the most desired things for oneself when your doing it completely alone.

I don't feel I am doing it alone, thats a BIG thing; I am one of those people who will just 'stop' working out if I don't see immediate results, so his subtle ways of encouraging me are great, he even asks me what I did. It helps that he is a runner, marathons, etc, so I see that and it keeps me going. As for a 'clipboard' he doesn't need any more ideas {giggles}. He won't let me drop to an unhealthy weight, we talked about that, I will go through times where I won't eat for days, for no reason, than I forget or just don't feel hungry; 'I want you to eat something' or 'if you get dizzy and your sugar level drops, I don't want to hear you complain' works wonders on me.

Also, my best friend an I are talking about bike riding a few times a week together; I would end up taking the brunt of the riding, but knowing that we are doing it together is great encouragement, besides, it means more time together, more girl talk.

octavia, if you want some encouragement, email me; maybe I can help out, even if only as emotional support. [:)]

Master does not enforce weight control per se. But as I want to lose weight to be healthier, He encourages me, helps tweak my exercise regimen, and my diet, which has
helped me lose 10# more than I had prior to Him giving me tips.

I don't know if you're being sarcastic or you're serious, I bet sarcastic though, since americans are becoming fatter and fatter each new generation, also, the obesity levels are rising, in adults too.

There it is in a nut shell.they must WANT to lose wright..bounty

Hello BountyHunter,

But everyone in America WANTS to lose weight, (or do something to glorify YOUTH and not be a loser).

No I'm quite serious.

Most Americans (being caught up in the marketing mix) WANT to lose weight. Maybe they think it makes them more attractive, maybe they think people will like them, maybe they think it's good for their health, maybe they think it'll keep them young forever, whatever they think they WANT to lose weight for, IT STILL REQUIRES MORE THAN DESIRE... It requires suffering. I just kill several birds with one stone.

I've had excellent success in training (with the by-product of massive bodyfat content reduction) by using food restriction. Also making them walk to work so I can have the car during the day has proven useful. And if they have no money they can't buy any food. Worx for me :)

RaynaSub -> RE: How many Dominants enforce weight control? (6/5/2007 3:16:21 PM)

My former Master was wonderful with encouraging and forcing me to lose weight.
He monitored what I ate, and made me exercise at least 4 times a week with him.
I was able to lose about 20 pounds, and I have kept if off.
He also used to weigh me once a week.

zindyslave -> RE: How many Dominants enforce weight control? (6/5/2007 9:13:48 PM)

I am having to lose weight for health reasons and am doing really well at it, in 2 months I have lost 10 pounds, My Master doesn't care if I am heavy or not but he does help by not letting me have too many sweets since for one they are bad for my health problems and because they don't help weight either. He enforces what my doctor has recommended I do to lose weight, I haven't really exercised I just cut out high carb foods and I have been working which before recently I was in school and couldn't work, so I do get more exercise than I did.

Sweetbluerose -> RE: How many Dominants enforce weight control? (6/5/2007 10:27:39 PM)

Shantra,
I did the same thing i worked for three years to go from 210lbs to 145, i was going to the gym and eating the right foods, my diabetis improved and i felt wonderful, and then my mother died, i got an infection, had to be operated on, couldn't go to the gym.
I tried to watch my weight, but without the exercise pound by pound kept on, after 8 months I started back at the gym only to have bad fall and end up with a torn muscle.
I am still doing some exercise but it is very modified, and the weight continues to be a problem
For those of us with a poor metabolism, it doesn't take many calories or much of a reduction in activity to swing the scale in the wrong direction.
I am trying the Dr. Oz diet, and the best thing I have done for myself is to keep an food and exercise diary.
My health is important, support is a proven motivator in weight lose. So a Dom who wanted us both to eat healthy and exercise would be a wonderful thing.

How many Masters {men and women} are able to enforce and control their
submissives weight and influence their dietary habits?

Not nearly enough.

Prop, you do know muscle weighs more than fat right? Not saying you don't, just wanting to make you aware of it. A strong person may weigh a lot more than they appear to because of that.

Edited to add: I only say something because I know some girls have really messed up their bodies trying lose weight while they were gaining muscle.

MyMasterStephen -> RE: How many Dominants enforce weight control? (6/6/2007 4:24:32 PM)

I will exert a degree of control, but only as a matter of "fine tuning", or of exerting control for the sake of it.  That being said, if a submissive expresses to me a genuine self-initiated desire to lose some weight, I will advise and help her in any way I can.

If I am looking for a submissive and encounter one who is much larger (or smaller) than I prefer, then I'll just pass them by.

Aquatic...yes i'm aware muscle weighs more than fat, that was actually something i mentioned in the post above. my Master demands that i be fit AND meet a specific weight, so the muscle that i gain from weight training makes it that much more difficult to maintain that weight requirement.

I wish my Daddy took more interest in weight issues, and working out and like maybe going swimming now it's summer. I did take a lap dancing class and he wants me to practice the moves, so not only I get more fluent and agil in them, I am exercising, but I kind of need a partner for the lap dancing. He also eats out a lot due to conveinece, and now he has a tiny lil place with not much room, it'll prolly mean even more food out.

I'm so glad you put that in, daddysprop! I recently had a conversation with my doctor about weight, yesterday in fact.  Fact is, I've been overweight my entire life but never over a certain point that my body just seems determined to keep no matter what I do.  In order to lose anything at all I have to go on what is generally considered a starvation diet of 900 calories a day and ramp up my already active life to super-athlete mode.  This is not sustainable and I've done it more than a few times only to lose 10-15 lbs and gain it back within a matter of days when I'm too tired and hungry to keep it up anymore.  So what did my dr. say? Well, my blood pressure being 112/69 as it was, she said to keep on doing what I have been - cause obviously I'm doing pretty well and to not worry myself over the fact that my body has found "homeostasis" as she called it, a balanced point that is just doesn't want to change from.  I know there are some out there tired of us fat people ranting but I am pretty tired myself of the "eat less/exercise more and everything will magically work out" philosophy.

jaunty1 -> RE: How many Dominants enforce weight control? (6/7/2007 7:23:01 AM)

I don't regulate what melissa can and can not eat, or how much. With that being said though, considering what she does in the military and what she wishes to do when her tour is up, she needs to maintain a healthy lifestyle. She excercises, watches what she eats and keeps her weight at a certain level, all by herself.

Live well

Alex
