ORIGINAL: octavia I guess this is more what i am seeking. I don't think i need someone standing over me with a clipboard.. but i do need encouragement and direction. Its really really hard to do even the most desired things for oneself when your doing it completely alone. I don't feel I am doing it alone, thats a BIG thing; I am one of those people who will just 'stop' working out if I don't see immediate results, so his subtle ways of encouraging me are great, he even asks me what I did. It helps that he is a runner, marathons, etc, so I see that and it keeps me going. As for a 'clipboard' he doesn't need any more ideas {giggles}. He won't let me drop to an unhealthy weight, we talked about that, I will go through times where I won't eat for days, for no reason, than I forget or just don't feel hungry; 'I want you to eat something' or 'if you get dizzy and your sugar level drops, I don't want to hear you complain' works wonders on me. Also, my best friend an I are talking about bike riding a few times a week together; I would end up taking the brunt of the riding, but knowing that we are doing it together is great encouragement, besides, it means more time together, more girl talk. octavia, if you want some encouragement, email me; maybe I can help out, even if only as emotional support.
