I watched this report on the news last night before I went to bed.
I thought it might be a good post but left it until this morning to search the BBC news website to use a source, and found that this isn't a simply 'one off' incident, but a reoccuring problem for naples as far back as 2001.
Back then, it was the lack of landfill sites that were cited as the problem.
Now, they are also blaming the cartells that run the country for undercutting legit business and blocking proposed landfill site applications as well as blocks imposed by locals.
