Once, while stuck in traffic, I  saw a wildflower (probably actually a weed by definition) that had pushed its way through a crack in the middle of the street and was thriving there with cars passing on either side. It was amazing. It was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen...

NATURE WINS!  In your face, mankind!

Seriously, the image of that flower is moving.. thank you very much for sharing that. [:)]

I think happiness is beauty. When you're in the right situation and 'who you are' is able to shine...that makes you happy, and that radiates to the world.

The picture of John Lennon and Yoko Ono the night he died.  Him naked, lying on her, smiling lovingly into her.  She looking off to one side, not registering the weight of his leg on her, the look on her face seeming like she is already visualizing him being gone.

There are many different ways of viewing beauty.

Greetings Sinergy,

The woman who took that picture, Ann Leibowitz, is one of Rolling Stone magazine's main photographers.  That was her description of the picture.  She said that all these years later she still cannot bear to look at that picture.

Rolling Stone called that picture the Pieta of the 60's Generation.

To me, beauty is like the pornography. I don't know how to describe it, but know when I see it.

There is so many different facets to why someone is beautiful to me, it's almost impossible to quantify or break down.

I guess the most simple definition is the mix of characteristics in a woman than makes my knees buckle.

It could be looks, sense of humor, intelligence, compassion, dominance, etc etc etc, all wrapped into the mind and body of a woman.

In each person I've ever felt was beautiful, they've never had the same look, or mind, or type. Each woman has been beautiful for her distinct mix of traits.
