Just wondering if anyone is watching this trail on Court TV
and what your thoughts are.
The prosecutions case is moving towards the end and from what I have heard, I don't think the celebrity card is going to work in this case.
The evidence against Phil Spector is overwhelming and the only thing that might throw help in his direction would be for him to take the stand.
Then again I also think the prosecution would have a field day with him, this guy is a one crazy man, especially when he consumed a lot of alcohol.

I haven't been watching, but, from what I know of the facts,  I feel what happened to that woman is an inexcusable tragedy.  I don't see how Spector can realistically expect anything but a guilty verdict.

I agree with both of you.
That poor woman didn't "get dead" by her own hand.

phil spector is a musical genius, but he has a long standing reputation for a fondness for guns, and for holding up the artists he's working with with them....not good imo.

He also uses them to, uh, "entice" the women in his life to have sex with him.

Hopefully his attorneys wouldn't let him drink that much before testifying...

I think they fail the "women in his life" standard.

I am talking about a report I read in one of the magazines I read (either Rolling Stone or Esquire) that former girlfriends of his stated he did that to them numerous times when he got drunk and they did not want to have sex with him.

Lol, Alumbrado!
That would really be a scene can you imagine.

I personally don't think Phil Spector didn't intentionally killed Lana Clarkson, I think she tried to push the gun away and out of her mouth and the gun went off, his gun and women fantasy to an end and sadly her life.
It's just too bad the 4 or 5 women(or the men in the studios) he did this too before didn't have him arrested when he played his gun games with them. Lana's life could have been saved.
If he was into getting off on this risky gun play with women he should have at least not had the guns loaded(they wouldn't have known the difference), he may have eventually been arrested for this behavior but no-one would have gotten killed.
