I have gathered a collection of toys over time. Part of it was driven by seeing a toy and thinking it is a must-have addition. Part of it was driven by having a variety of toys to have available for a variety of tastes. I think it is a good idea for a sub to have his own toys both for the practicality of having toys when needed, and for health related reasons. If I have a set of toys that are used on me only, breaking the skin is less an issue for the toys.

My connection to BDSM is more at a mental level. Most toys are for physical play and so toys that facilitate mental play stand out to me. I would say amongst  items that stand out in my toy bag is an objectification gag.

lol- yeah well I'm seriously considering building another dungeon some time in the future on my land but away from the house. Something really elaborate. I once saw this stainless steel room with a stainless bondage table, drains in the floor, some very fancy shower heads. I really need to have this as one of my rooms.

I also love ritual scenes and want an area, maybe a deck with a big fire pit and stocks, places to hang slaves. I have a branding iron with GDV on it in a bin somewhere.

Then I want to build horses stables and on the end stall make it larger but with a concrete floor, special shackles, feed bins, etc. to put a slave or two for a whole other fantasy.


The most important implement of all is my mind.

One item for physical play I bought alongside the gag was the paddle that has tire on it. It seemed way cool at the time. But then I got home and my sensibility kicked in. Now it's buried somewhere in my backyard ;-)
