5 is average?! Then DAMN, I have been a very very lucky lucky girl, I thought 7.5/8 was average with some girth {thats been my average experience, slightly bigger most of the time}. 10inches, mmmmmmmmmmmm. Done it before, can do it again; ok, so my cervix got a little bit bruised and sore, its been through worse the last few years.

average size can vary from country to country.... the last time I checked between 5 to 6 inches was fairly the standard average for a male in the united states... what works for me the best is about around 5 and 1/2" lenght and I guess on the slim side... gives me a nice filled feeling without that ouchy I'm being ripped apart not in the good way feeling.

Im not a size queen, and when I buy toys, I look for ones with girth rather than length, but few toymakers think of that and its all gotta be about the length bleh. Having had a bruised cervix on more than one occasion, I like em smaller and wider. But I agree with Sexy Red about the tongue:)[8D]

Until I was 26 I thought average was 7" - 8" only to be told it was 5" total shocker for me.

So I'm assuming that it's a relative thing to what a person has seem most often?



I was going by medical research of aproximatly 5" to 6".

Maybe I should have previously stated that myself, I'm what I would consider above average girth, and average length. Having said that, I don't have an issue when it comes to pride, accommodating a "larger" request. Toys have always been a very important part of my reportoire.

i don't think i'd consider myself a "size queen" either, but i do have standards. i'm sorry, when they're workin with 4 or 5 inches, it doesn't matter how good they are with their fingers and or tongue, it's not gonna be the same as that nice, full, stuffed with cock feeling. It doesn't have to be huge, although that's always nice, but i want something above "average." i guess i've been spoiled, and would like to stay that way. lol

Wikipedia does a nice job of collecting the studies that have been done on penis size.  Here is what it says:
  • A study published in the September 1996 Journal of Urology concluded that average erect length was 12.9 cm (5.08 in) (Measured by staff).[5] Erection was pharmacological induced in 80 physically normal men.

  • A study published in the December 2000 International Journal of Impotence Research found that average erect penis length was 13.6 cm (5.35 in) (Measured by staff).[6] Erection was pharmacological induced in 50 patients who had been evaluated for ED (average age 47±14y). Patients with penis abnormalities or whose ED could be attributed to more than one psychological origin were omitted from the study.

  • A study conducted by LifeStyles Condoms found an average of 14.9 cm (5.9 in) with a standard deviation of 2.1 cm (0.8 in) (Measured by staff).[7] 401 college students were measured during 2001 Spring Break in Cancún, Mexico. Of these 300 were able to gain an erection for clinical measurement.

These are the results of the clinical studies.  There are two self-measuring/reporting internet studies noted in the Wikipedia article which report an average penis size of 6.3" and 6.1" inches respectively.  But  the accuracy of self-measurement and reporting can be questioned.

Anyway, it appears that the average erect male penis is between 5 and a little more than 6 inches in length. 

The Wikipedia article also has a graph showing the percentage distribution by penis length.  According to that graph, far less than 5% of men have erect penises larger than 7".  So, those claiming that their partners have averaged 7 to 8 inches are probably suffering from poor eyesight, or wishful thinking.  *grin*

Depends - for instance with vaginal childbirth there is scarring and such that can happen along the vaginal walls that isn't really ever going to be the same with kegels.  So if someone can only feel whats inside of them if they are X length or X circumference then thats probably the (relative) length before the cervixmushstuff and circumference/width of the walls of their vagina. 

I think each vagina is different in terms of such things, but I find it odd how the penis discussions are always kinda pro bigger and having mandatory lengths and such, yet if there were a breast size discussion or a vaginal circumference/tightness discussion it would be labeled superficial (I don't think there's anything wrong with being superficial we all are to varying degrees).

i've been with a man who had about 3 inches, and a man who had 10.  both were happy with me....i was happier with a gentleman who had 5 inches and knew what to do with it.  i've been scared by a man who is bigger round than my wrist, and been QUITE satisfied with someone less endowed who again...knew what to do with it.
