We have of late been discussing whether we are BG's, nurturers, a combo of both, strong, weak, whatever----We all did agree though that life intervenes, that we live lives and stuff happens--so what is it out there that Dominates You? Mine is the world, I am a strategist in international marketing and I am "slave" to the world--I wake with Eurpoe and the East, I work across the US and when the sun sets, I am with China, Japan, Australia---I love it, I am the expert--however, that's what Dominates Me---well after the cats of course---- *Next?*

OMG I mentioned this yesterday... I hate going to the dentist. It is something about the chair, the pain, the inability to speak in My own defense... I wonder what He'd think if I took along a negotiations checklist for him to fill out next time??? LOL

My farm and the responsibilities I have taken on because of it.....dogs, horses, etc.

Right now..School, studying, work, my looming internship and this damned head cold I can't seem to shake. Although the dentist thing is a scary one as well...along with clowns. Don't ask.

You and your clowns, Ms Jo! Someday you will have to write and tell us all about that! For Me, My theater. All season long, and now getting ready to prepare for next season. It is nice to have that little break, though. What else? My 15 month old grandson, who joyfully dominates Me whenever I have the privilege of caring for him for just a little while.

Right now the job hunt that is going to be the center of my world for awhile. But otherwise I'm going have to go with the cat. I've called him "my Lord" whenever he gets bossy and he will always get his way. Just too cute not too. Just glad I'm not alone with the Dom cat. [:)]

My dogs, sometimes school. The dentist has never bothered me though I do dislike going to the doctor, particularly if it involves drawing blood[:'(] I'd rather stick them with the needles then have them stick me. ~Lashra

On the pleasant side (I"ll skip the dentist idea for the moment), I would have to say at the top of My list is My Granddaughter. She is the world to Me and has been ever since the day she was born. My mood lightens any time anyone even asks about her. She is the joy of My life. A distant second is Nermal, the kitten I got this past Christmas. There is a constant running gag of My statement of My kitten not being spoiled, which of course, she is. Cutest little grey thing, just like Nermal from the Garfield comics. On the less pleasant side, I would have to say work, since My hours can rule My life during a work rotation. Those days/nights, there is time for little else.

Mine would be cigarettes. I have been making promises to myself to quit for years. It's my New Years resolution every year, and I never go through with it. I make a myriad of excuses for not doing it and delaying it. My most popular one being that I am going to gain a lot of weight when I quit. I get antsy and irritable when I don't have them, and it's getting to the point now that you can't smoke anywhere. I've even noticed want ads for jobs in the newspaper saying they won't hire smokers. I would definitely call them a dominating influence in my life and not in a good way.

Slaveboy - I am in the exact same position with the ciggies. I love smoking, but I have to stop, and I cant. I am convinced that in some way they are tied up with a certain tom cat, who seems to run everything around here. E

Nothing really dominates me other than my creative muse. I choose to teach, I choose to work on my PhD -- they have time requirements but they bend to my making the schedules. My creative muse on the other hand will bug the heck out of me until I write down what is circulating in my head.

What dominates me is my job and housework. Oh, I love to going to the dentist. The only thing I have done now days is getting my teeth cleaned. A very sexy lady works there. I really enjoy her cleaning them.[;)]

Oh, yes. I hadn't even considered the cigarettes, but it's true. I often tell people I smoke for the greater good of mankind. Heaven help the folks around Me if I didn't smoke! Then, I'd REALLY be a bitch!

Unfortunately, I can only go twice a year.[:(] Because of my work schedule, I am usually her last patient of the day. She told me that she enjoys me being her last patient. “Your teeth are easy to clean. You do such a nice job of flossing.”[:)]
