ORIGINAL: pixelslave Sadly, I have the skills to do the work, just not the right woodworking tools. It seems a shame to pay $150.00 + when I could make it myself for far less. [image]http://www.collarchat.com/micons/m23.gif[/image] Mistress really does enjoy playing with the one I've made for us. [:D] Perhaps the question is what could one do if limited to using a rotary power saw, various hand saws, wood chisels, a power drill, hand sander (non power), and say a wood rasp? Any thoughts on improvements once could make without spending hundreds of hours? [&:] - pixel Collared to Majik on 6-23-07 Pixel, You pretty much have the tools you need to make just about anything you want. I am in a similar situation and am going to make a set of humblers out of either oak or maple, whichever i can get my hands on for less money. The only additional tool that i have is a Dremmell. i highly recomend one. especialy if space is limmited. They are very versitle and not that expensive Ahhh Dremel Tools! I remember always wanting one of those as a kid when I was into making 1/24th scale model slot cars. [:D] They always seemed quite expensive back then, but they really are much less so now. Those portable grinders, sanders and cutting heads would be quite versatile for adding details that could come in quite handy. Will have to look into adding one of those to my arsenal. [8D] I do have limited space to work with and that is part of the issue for me. But I do enjoy those kinds of projects when I have time. [;)] The previous humbler I'd made with Oak dowels worked well, except it doesn't have any cutout for bloodflow to the scrotum. With the larger diameter dowel rods, or even using 1" x 2" pieces of hard wood hinged vertically with a cut-out, I was thinking something along those lines might work better than what I've made without the expense of the folding models; albeit perhaps not as sturdy than that design. But with a dremel tool, I believe I could make a folding model and fashion the oval cut-out and custom fit the curvature for behind the thighs just the same. [8|] Thanks for the input!
