I don't have any Michael Manning books, although I'm certainly familiar.

For my money, I like Sardax a bit more.

Michaels work is fantastic!
And, quite often borders on the Taboo. 

I've been a huge fan of his work since his first book.

check it out at the Spidergarden.net.  I think his work captures the essence of BDSM better than any other publication.  For me anyway.
