i want to see that exhibit - last i heard it was in Philly - but i think it travels. 

i don't know why people get so caught up in their remains and what happens to them.  i believe the catholic church sanctioned cremation years ago. There are so many in need of organ donations - i think i once heard only like 5% donate viable organs - and of the 5% only 1% are actually viable. So many people waiting die needlessly. 

i had a biology professor who once told me to think carefully before signing the donor card because if you ever have an accident and they see you are a donor they just might not try so hard if you have a nice liver, heart or kidney they  have been waiting for. Sounds ghoulish and i thought it was a bit irresponsible of that professor, at the time, to be telling people that.  If i am ever that far gone where there is even talk about organ donation a doctor pushing me over that edge doesnt sound so bad anyway - death's not always the worste option in life.
