AwakenedStar -> fashion grade latex (6/8/2007 9:25:27 AM)

anyone know where i can purchase fashion grade latex for prices that aren't sky high?
i've been looking to get into making "fetish apparel" since making regular clothing is getting a bit boring!

thanks!

Rubber fetish is a very specialist kink. Rubberists are pretty picky. I'd suggest joining a specialist rubber forum and posting your question there, as otherwise you might end up making gear that won't sell, and latex is an expensive investment. Those groups also have all the hints for glues, joins, zips etc. You are getting into an area that is very technical, but if you master it, very lucrative.

Hey AwakenedStar :) I've seen sites that sell this, and some other interesting related items, but I notice you're in the States - if you could post back whether you'd be happy or not to order from the UK or Germany, let me know & I'll look up the websites again. I don't remember precisely, but I think that was where I found some :)

Greeetings
There is a company in the UK called 4D rubber and they sell sheeting in lots of colours by the meter, a hundred pound minimum order. The main problem when I looked at it was the cost of shipping. I know latex is heavy but whoa, it came to $379 for ten meters of 92cm wide latex, of .30mm thickness, of which $174 was for shipping to the US.

Another site I found sells latex sheeting in colours, also pvc, spandex and patent vinyl
Their latex sheeting in 0.30mm thick and 39 inches wide, sold by the yard, comes out to $9.99 per yard(10 yards) and only $12.50 for shipping a grand total of $112.40

Errrrrm yes im doing my own  shopping list here, heheheh
I thought I had more links, but cannot find them right now, if I do I will post them
Best wishes

Four4 is about the only vendor to get good quality latex sheeting from. Its not really cheap and the shipping will be very high since its heavy. As far as the .30mm latex sheeting, its kind of thin, but for 9.99 a yard good buy. you can check out rubberpal.com for more info on this topic.

The UK is about the only place I have seen it available in other than black.

I can get pretty much any color, with the exception of the multi-color patterns.   Either PM or email me.
