I don't "hate" anyone... but yes, most young people could stand to do some growing up... but when I say young I don't mean in age, I mean in maturity. So fine 9 out of 10 in my age range are idiots who can't spell their own names, but the 1 out of 10 who has a level head more than makes up for the other 9. It's that way at ANY age, just more obvious at younger ages because the younger ones have the ability to physically be in your face with their idiocy where as the older ones have calmed down a bit. Not even all of them have, though! It's not youth, it's humanity as we have allowed it to become, not even nature.

I don't hang out w/ younger people mainly because we are usually on diff'rent levels but I have respect for youth.

I watched the videos on the site in the OP, and I can't say that I don't agree with some of the things that older folks don't like about the younger generation. However, the misconception that most of these people in these videos seem to have is that young people are rude. I'm twenty-two years old and I can say that I am quite sure that I'm not rude, especially to elderly folk. It's not the young people themselves that are bad -- it's the way they were raised. Thirty years ago there were teenagers doing acid and throwing keg parties and doing whatever without listening to their parents. Nothing has changed in that aspect. If these old folks have so much to say about the younger generation, then some of these 30, 40 and 50 year olds posting these hateful videos should raise their children to be respectful, have manners and always be polite. I know I was raised that way, and I know full well how to say please and thank you. On the flip side though, a lot of young people DON'T have the respect that they should for the elder generations. I'm not one of these people. I'm going to be a certified nurse's assistant and work with elderly people because I look at every one of them as if they are my grandmother or grandfather. Too often today we see elderly folk that have been tossed into nursing homes and forgotten. They're lonely and bitter and really just need someone to genuinely care about their health and wellbeing. We can learn from them just as much as they can learn from us if there was less hate and bitterness in the age gap and more respect and concern for the wellbeing of your fellow human being.

I'm pretty darn lucky that I was around older people who liked younger me...cause I tend to prefer guys that have at least 7 years on me...and have enjoyed men up to 28 years my senior...let's see...thinking back...biggest age difference...I was um...19 and he was 47. S Age discrimination would have killed my sex life as a very young adult.

Is it bad that I'm a young person that hates young people? I don't hate all young people, just those that give us other young people a bad name. Sadly I see them more often than I want at work. I took a peek at the website the OP mentions; I thought it was pretty funny. Who cares if someone doesn't like my generation. You can't please everyone. I do what I do because it makes me happy. I don't do things to impress people who hate my generation anyway. What's the point?
