You put " " around punish - Do you mean real punish or play punish? Is this humiliation play or do you want them lost in sheer terror.

It depends if they are extroverts or if they are agoraphobics and have a fear of publid performance.

Isn't this ON topic - i.e. should be in the BDSM section, not casual banter?

No, I wouldn't. It would probably be more of a punishment to my ears than anything else....unless I was blessed enough to have a slave that could carry a tune in a bucket.

It would depend on the sub really - someone who really, truly was petrified, no I wouldnt. Someone who was just a little embarassed, maybe, though the choice of song would be mine - something "appropriate". Someone who liked it, well it would hardly be an issue.

The venue would be important to take into account too - there's a big difference between vanilla in public, scene in public and a private party where everyone knows one another.

The important thing about karaoke is not to have people who can sing do it. Where's the fun if they really can sing?

Exactly what behavior would that help to modify in the future?

I wouldn't because I don't see what purpose it would have.

I'd certainly order one up there just for plain amusement and fun though.

LOL. I wouldn't need to. My husband would be up there on his own before I could get a word out. He's got one hell of set of pipes on him. He has a deeper voice, and can still hit every note in certain Prince songs. Awesome, scary, and scary awesome.

He's got an awesome band gig tonight. A well-paying one, even. He's a drummer. I'm really excited. I get to dress up sexy and be the token band wife. I'll admit I like the attention and I like having a sexy, talented husband, and I also like people knowing he's mine.

i was asking a question in general with a joking tone in my intent. but then i tend to forget that we are dealing with the internet, and there is this thing called "ONE DIMENSIONAL INTERNET SYNDROME"no one can see my facial expressions,

not intrinsically kinky but i used to know a guy that would be suspended by hooks then swing back and forth while singing karaoke, usually Sweet Transvestite from RHPS or Queens Bohemian Rhapsody

i used to like going to karaoke bars but i would never get up to sing
i cant carry a tune if it had a handle on it... so if i had to get up to sing karaoke it would be a punishment for me as well as humiliation for whomever made me get up there

i punished my self once by making me do karaoke.....my sin had been drinking 5 shots of cuervo gold and a few budweisers.........june 11, 2002, swore off takillya that night also-lol

I LOVE kareoke, and for the first time in my life I have a Master that not only is happy to go to kareoke with me but sings Himself - i thought i'd died and gone to geeky heaven when i found that out...
