Spat gives Alabama Senate black eye

A Republican lawmaker slugging a Democratic colleague in the Alabama Senate this week reminded political observers of another black eye for the Legislature: Eight years ago, the lieutenant governor urinated in a jug, discreetly, at the front of the Senate chamber.

Both incidents occurred as tensions simmered over Senate operating rules. And both became fodder for TV comics and commentators.

I'd like to see that in the U.S. Senate.
I'd like to see Hillary Clinton haul off and smack that fat, bloated Ted Kennedy in the face!
THEN I'd vote for her!

p.s. Might want to go easier on Ted Kennedy. He had two brothers assassinated, has a lifelong position as political royalty from Massachussets, is related by marraige to the Governator, has a nephew charged with raping a woman, and will be forever remembered as the man who failed to call the police to tell them he drove his car off a cliff and killed the woman he was banging until the following day.
