In the true spirit of being submissive, should I surrender all my financial records over to my Mistress ? I know that its a matter of trusting them, but...

In the spirit of being a "true" dominant, she should lead by example and send you all her financial information first. I mean, I'm sure she trusts you....doesn't she?

Being submissive doesn't mean being gullible, kayak. Use your common sense. If ya'll have been together for a good number of years whereby ya'll already have developed that coexistential trust between the two of ya'll, then it could be well justified as a topic for serious discussion between you and your Mistress. If you are just starting out, then you are positioning yourself for a risk of a royal screwing without even getting so much as a kiss afterward.

Well stated. Trust has to be both ways. Some people in the "lifestyle" use that ideology of trust to exploit others. Don't let yourself fall for it. Skeptical, yes, I am. I have seen too many scams in My lifetime. Take your time. I doubt there is any reason why anyone besides a financial institution would need to see your financial records.

Instead of depending on all this new-fangled technology to pick a mate, use some good old-fashioned common sense... or is that something that has been forgotten in this new era of being completely dependeent on technology whereby most people can't even count change backwards these days.

I know there has to be trust in a relationship....but I would have to wonder why someone would want all your/my financial records?????? Unless they were to explain why and for what reasons and prove their motives for wanting them, I would never do it!

If your first instinct is to question it, there must be a reason even if your not fully aware of it yourself. The mind has a funny way of letting us know when things are not quite right. Go with your instinct!

As Slade would sing "Run, run away". It smacks of either poser, user or fraud.

All the post's offer sound advice. However, if this Woman truly capitivates you, you might want to play with her for while and see where it goes.

I always say ''Do your home work''. Couple that together with your intuitive prowess and let them guide you.....

Myself, I'm a gambler! But I can usually count the cards fairly well and know when the Ace is gonna pop up.

Good luck to you.

If you don't take this as a hint, and remove yourself from this situation, you will surely end up regretting it. I didn't have a major problem with her request until I read this "we haven't even met yet"... Why haven't you met??
Do you two live in different countries?
I'm absolutely okay with your surrendering all that you are and all that you have, after you've known, loved, and are planning to move in together.. M

I'm with BTF here ... If she is willing to provide you with the same information about herself, then maybe. I would also be one that would show copies of the information with the important stuff like account numbers, routing numbers, etc removed first, of course. However, the fact that she wants all of this information before/at the initial visit ... that is even more worrysome.

I would never ask for information like that (other than general "you do have a job, right?" type stuff) until there is going to be some financial obligation involved ... like he's moving in and will be helping to pay the bills.
