Where I live in London there is an ice cream van bearing the name of 'Mr Whippy'. Not only do I wonder whether he is a Dom, but also if he sells his ice cream at any fetish events or munches.

You can go to any supermarket in the UK and pick up a packet of 'Instant Whip' dessert (never quite worked out why there isn't a vanilla flavour)

From my time in Warsaw I can remember the Happy Sub Vietnamese restaurant and CBT Taxi which had a slogan which announced 'we come quickest'.

You certainly keep your eyes open.

The child in me always chuckles when I hear women talking about going to the spa and getting facials.

I saw a bumper sticker that said 'flogging molly' a while back, my best friend had to explain that it was the name of a band, sheesh, spoiled my fun, for a second I thought someone was being 'open.'

Going into Home Depot is hard enough, the robe, hte chain, the eye hooks, etc drive me nuts, its like Disneyland for lifestyelrs, my SO teasres me by calling and saying, "I am looking at 3/4 in soft rope right now, the things I could do with this.." Maybe Home Depot is REALLY a covert operation for lifesytlers?!

Well, NYC has a sewer or so company called A&L Cesspool.

Don't say it too fast.

You are defintally observent. I sometimes notice simular things. I seen a car resently baring a bumper sticker that said treat me like a slut and it made me laugh really hard. And every now and then I will be somewhere and recognize someone from collarme, and if the recognize me there is always a silent nod and I love love love that.

We had a new estate agent (realtor?) start business in my area a few years back, and whether it was a joke or not I dont know, but everywhere there suddenly appeared "For Sale" signs outside houses, proudly painted "Nicholas Tart".

Its a shame, that recently its been changed to Nick Tart, but for a while there....

Mr Whippy was ALWAYS my favourite icecream as a kid in England, it's been around for years! And it's in Australia too! One thing I miss about Perth is our Mr Whippy van that parked just up on the main road every weekend. Ah his icecream was the BEST! Haven't actually found one here in Bundy yet ... and no Baskin Robbins either :-(

Einzelganger -> RE: Kinky names for businesses/products/services. (6/11/2007 2:33:56 AM)

There's always Fuchs, the company that made the alloy rims on Porsches for ages.

My favourite though, is an air conditioning service I had a picture of a while back in England, called Stiff Nipples, with a little snowflake on each 'p'.

LOL these have given Me a chuckle this morning.  Thank you all so much for sharing your observations.  PS I think Home Depot is really a fetish store in disguise.  I get excited every time I go in one.  I found myself in  a dollar store yesterday looking at gadgets thinking hmmmmmm these would make interesting play items.

I saw a license plate some years back that said "DOMINANT".

Unfortunately I had to pick my oldest up at school so I couldn't follow and see where he worked.

FR:  I supposed this has to go here:   My girl, a psychologist in training, will start talking about "CBT" they were discussing/using in class that day, and I'll just lose it.
