Status: offline 		But today i got a letter from someone who says he is a Rapture Dom. I have writen him back to ask exasctly what does this mean. It is a title that he calls himself, and not his way of discribing his style.

I have to say I almost fell out of my seat laughing, but I am wondering what others thought. Is there really such a thing? ect?

I haven't heard this term since a yahoo group 3 years ago, one always hopes these things just die out.

It's basically a romanticized term meaning that the dom has so swept away the sub that she is totally enraptured by him and thus incapable of doing anything but his will.  Versus just getting to know her or a conscious choice of consent.

Why you crazy, CrazyC...

It means that when the Second Coming occurs, he will be lifted up to heaven and will avoid the Tribulations to come... probably leaving his submissive(s) behind in the process.

It's also quite possible he's left several behind already, getting in practice for The Big One...

Then I realized the spelling and thought..

and it turns out....

it's some fancy romantic notion based on "Gone with the Wind"..
