Status: offline 		Some people even spell their own handle wrong. There is one person I just noticed with the word 'control' in their name, but control is spelled contol! What gives? Can't even pay attention long enouph to even spell your own name correctly?

Then you got the people(or the same people as above) who have MULTIPLE crazy spelling errors in their profile. Sometimes, it is even to the point of being confusing unless you are a seriously good figure-outer-er like myself. WHAT GIVES?

Are people just masterbating with one hand and typing with the other, so unconcerned with their horny message that they could care less?


WHAT GIVES? I know the world has gone to pot, but, c'mon people, we can do better than this.

Status: offline 		I used to feel the way you did, then I realized that so many people in the world are learning English--it is for example the number one chosen language of study in China--and it is not intuitive to learn---so I suggest you might try learning another language like one of the doublebyte countries, you will have an appreciation---

ok... now I am over the irony - to answer the OP.
Some people purposefully mistype/spell their name or handle - simply to make it stand out, or because the word and name is already used.
 
It is called conscious image choice, rather than inaccurate post spelling.

It is only Murphy's Law, those who bitch about how others spell things misspell a crucial word in their post that rants about this... It is one of the many reasons I do not ridicule people for their lack of spelling ability, I know how many typos I make, and every year my ability to spell diminishes

Perhaps spell check should be part of your regular usage as well.  I didn't know the "fff" sound in enouGh was Ph.  I also thought the "E" was supposed to be a "U" in masturbate.  You might want to employ grammar check as well.

Status: offline 		OMG, I will spell it out for people like Julia: IN A POST ABOUT HOW PPL MISPELL THINGS, IT WAS MY INTENTION TO SPELL 'RETARDED' WRONG. That was the subtle joke, way too subtle for everyone who's fingers type faster than their brains can think.
