He deserves to go ASAP. The judge is smart...He knows that the Republicans will try to keep Libby out on appeal for 2 years till the end of the Bush presidency. Then after the election, when Bush is due to leave anyway, he'll get a pardon. He'll never serve a day if he's allowed out on appeal.

I just realized--Scooter's whole problem stems from the fact that he was born into the wrong family! Can you imagine a pinko big-government welfare junkie named Scooter Neocon? He can still file appeals and will most likely go to a minimum security prison
and have to be placed in a special wing becuase of his political notoriaty.
