First of all, yes I am hoping to stir up some kinky discussion here that people will enjoy reading. But my simple question for Masters is how and when did you first realize you were turned on by a dominant role? As a submissive, I knew early on in childhood that I obsessed about spankings a little much. Although they were a very real threat in my life that I didn't enjoy, my nightmares sometimes had me unable to escape them... and they weren't really nightmares. I acted out such fantasies with my Barbie doll, since few dolls seemed quite as deserving. The fantasies of being dominated were quite constant, fortunately for me, since I grew up surrounded by rather strict adults. Of course, the roleplay has taken place in several areas of my life, not just in the bedroom. From the moment the little neighbor boy would make up transgressions to spank me for, up through all of my education to my present workday. I think some people are naturally dominant and others submissive, but I am very curious about the naturally dominant. I would like to more fully understand that aspect. Thank you.

I was tying up my sister when I was age 7. Using jump rope and tying her to the wooden rocker in our living room. I knew then I was a bit different.

I was tying up little boys with my jump rope when I was about 7 or 8 years old. I always liked to lead and make decisions. I hated playing house and babydolls

that just was never my thing. I always liked riding my mini bike and pretending to be a biker chick with her harem of men following behind her.

I recall that I first got my taste for it with my first sexual experience. I was playing with a neighbor girl, a very close friend at the time and it was really hot so we just had swimsuits on. We were wrestling in a tent we had set up in the backyard and I felt that "stirring" in my shorts. While we writhed about we both kept touching each other and soon it was too much. Wow! Thank you for your responses, and LA for the postings info. Beings submissive, you can imagine I don't get much thrill out of hearing other subs describe their recollections. Too much like my own recollections, so I already know them. But I am very curious about the Dom/Dommes. Although I was relieved as an adolescent to stumble across the word "sadomasochism" and discover I wasn't alone, I spent much of my youth worried that there were no true Dom/Dommes out there. Only people who would grudgingly play the role to please the rest of us. So your stories definitely intrigued me. And I have also read all of the early experiences I could find in the other threads from Dom/Dommes relating to bondage, and the few that Doms/Dommes told when relating who first taught them (a question that may have been loaded in favor of sub experiences, unfortunately). I am eagerly hoping to get to read other early stories from Masters and Mistresses about the things they did or how they felt before they even knew what it was all about.

I like all the others tasted dominance at an early age but when the light clicked on for good was when I was 18 working in dc for the summer for a television station and noticed the anchor watching me clean up at night,so to cut to the chase one night,I took her

When I was young I had this long, ridiculously drawn out and complicated fantasy that Wonder Woman (the Justice League cartoon one--Linda Carter wasn't incarnate as WW yet) was my love-slave. Like, somehow a thread from her Golden Lassoe got on me, and somehow the polarity was reversed and it made her my devoted servant. She lived to please me--her first thought upon arising was of me, her last thought upon retiring was of how she had pleased me.

This was pre-sexual--she was my love-slave, not sex-slave, in my goofy fantasy. Pretty much from there it's been all of a piece from the same broadcloth.

All though I don't really remember, i've been told my dominance started even before I was out of the playpen. I was constantly taking the other kids things and hitting them when i wanted my way.

As for actual rememberance..i'd have to say about 8. I was with a girl down the street, she was cute. Not really sure what started it all, but I just started bossing her around telling her to drop to her kness and kiss my hand. When she did, I got excited and everything went from there. The guy who lived downstairs saw my potential as a dom, took me in and started teaching me. Somewhere around the age of 10 I think is when I took on my first slave...of course, the girl down the street.
