Actually this is a very smart move on their part, and I'm thinking about adding Kellogg to my portfolio. People are very concerned about childhood obesity, and rightly so. I've done some baking in the past, and I actually found my baked items tasted BETTER when I cut the sugar because I could actually taste the other flavors. And 200 cals per serving...what's a serving? 3/4 cup? Most people that I know who still eat cereal eat about 1.5c for breakfast, so at 200 cals/serving you get 400 cals for breakfast. For 500 cals, I could eat a burger at a fast food joint (no mayo or cheese, please). So the changes aren't that big imo, and the potential profits to be had by catering to the obesity epidemic are huge. Kellogg might just be a BuyBuyBuy! [:D]
