I tend to see a slave as someone who actively chooses to be relieved of a final choice.  The 'right' to say no isn't taken; it's surrendered as well.

There are some dominants who specifically are drawn to the 'teacher' aspect of domination - and it is likely that when you find the person who is right for you, he will have this aspect very strong in him.  Sounds like you like to question and learn and those are great aspects in a submissive personality because it permits us to learn what the dominant person in our lives wants and helps us learn to please.  I've also heard the theory that dominants with a strong "DaddyDom" personality (this doesn't necessary have to include ageplay) will enjoy the type of personality you are talking about.  (All the people I know in Daddy/girl relationships have told me that compared to many other D/s couples, she is almost *expected* to question things... although I might just be running into one aspect of that population.)  What I'm trying to say is that there is certainly not only a dominant out there who will not be 'bothered' by the things you describe, but will in fact be pleased by them. :)
