Hello Everyone,

I have requested that anyone that contacts me, view my profile first.  I get an awful lot of those saying they have viewed it but it doesn't show up on my 'who's viewing me'.  I can quickly tell who has read it and who has not, but I was wondering if sometimes someone can view your profile and their nic not show up.  Some things just didn't add up for me and I wondered.

hello Lockit,
No I think it shows everyone who has read your profile if they do click on the "view full profile" option and not just what shows up when they go to your name. It only keeps the most recent ones though, I'm not sure how long a view will last in the list.
p.s. try putting something at the end of your profile that requests them to mention something if they write to you. Then you will know anyone who doesn't do what you asked hasn't seen it or doesn't care.

Thanks very much!  I didn't think it was a problem, but now I have a thread even to send them too!  Let them know the game doesn't work!  I didn't think of that until just now... whoa... bonus! hehe

As for the end of profile test... good idea. lol  Gotta combat these unwelcome wankers.  Gotta clarify that because I kind of learned I might be a wanker of some form yesterday. hehe  I am also a fake... a wanna be and so much more! lol I am sooooo having fun with this!  Can you tell? hehe

1. no you can't clear your admirers or who's viewed you list (far as I know)

2. just open another browser window, click it on your favorites, and voila!

If you don't view the full profile it won't show up.  Some people have short enough profiles, that you don't need to do that to read all of text.  Your profile doesn't seem to be that way.  You have enough written, that you have to view the full profile to read all of it.  You also don't have to be logged in to view someone's full profile (I just tried it.).  So obviously they wouldn't show up in your list, if they viewed it that way.  I didn't realize you could do that.  Apparently if you are not logged in, all you have to enter is a birthdate making you of legal age and a name for a electronic signature.

Wow... thanks!  I didn't think of that one. lol  That could have proved embarassing if I had climbed all over someone unjustly! lol  But... to send an email they have to pretty much be registered to CM right?  Dang it... complicatin the little things eh?

You're welcome Lockit.  I am pretty sure you can only send an email when you're logged in.  It could be they viewed your profile when they were at work or on a shared computer, and they were worried someone could get into their account.  I know I never sign into this site if I am on someone else's computer.   *laughs*  I always try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

you can read a profile and send messages from the front page without ever entering into it

Part of
Collar me

It will take you to the other half of the site.

If you go to the other side, you can deactivate your profile and then browse others full profiles without showing up as having viewed them.  You can then reactivate when done.
