I just wanted to say from one person who had a wonderful father, Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers, both biological and non-biological.

I've never fathered a child but I did birth 4 of them.

Well, to our regular submissives who frequent this Ask a Mistress board some may be fathers. Members come in and out of each section not just the category they prescribe to.

Well, being "twue" masters of course, they dont father children, but breed livestock.

Anyway, any fool with a dick can be a father - it takes a special man to be a dad. And a very special dad to be an auntie.

I certainly apologize if I somehow offended you, but unfortunately emotion does not fly thru cyber space very well. I think maybe you took offense to my original post and that is certainly not how it was intended.

I am a divorced Mother who's ex is not really interested in being a Dad. So as the situation is, I am Mom AND Dad. So thank you.

Thank you for the good wishes despite some of what has been said about posting it in this forum. I, for one, greatly appreciate it, as I rarely have time to read much of the other forums and am not a Dom.

Sitting on my nightstand is a small picture frame that was given to me 10 years ago by my sister not long after my first unmentionable was born. It contains a small quote of sorts surrounded by some artwork that says "Any man can be a father... but it takes someone special to be a Daddy!" I'll never forget cutting the cord or her reaching out from the warmer and wrapping her tiny hand around my index finger as if to say "Hi Dad!"

It's a moment I'll always treasure along with the many special moments we've shared and will continue to share as she grows into a fine young woman.

My sister and I both grew up without a father as ours died in an accident when I was still an infant and she was about 5. We know what it's like to not have a father, or even worse, suffer abuse from the stepfathers that came in and out of our lives. So this little frame with it's few poignant words of wisdom has long held much meaning for me.

Thank you again for the good wishes on this special day for those of us who were blessed to experience the birth of our unmentionables and still wish to have them as a part of our lives.
