I have seen this happening alot lately. It's a good idea to have a contract between the parties so that no lines are crossed and that no allegations can later be made.

Did your sub accuse you of assault or what? Would love more details.

Did you try using your safe word when they came for you?

Since you didn't provide details we are left with assuming the cause of your incarceration. If you came in through an open window wearing a ski mask to a woman's apartment and attacked her - that's sexual assault even if you had your "Grand Master" certificate. By the way, bragging about your experience is not always a good way to meet others in the lifestyle. But if your experience made it to an episode of "Cops" maybe you'll get some who love being with a celebrity.

You're in ENGLAND, in a loving relationship with someone (according to your profile), and how did it come to be you got arrested for sexual assault??
Why would this incident of yours impact us? I know for a fact that If I am in a loving relationship, my lover is not going to accuse me of such.. M

I was asked to take this down.

Suffice to say it was about my trouble and the law and people changing their minds later.

You're welcome to ask, but I was told this shouldn't be in a forum.

Thanks for the reply Perverse...
I'm sorry about your ordeal; this is among the reasons I'm not a casual player, and don't even pretend to be... Emotions get in the way, and in this case it happened from both sides, and now she's hurt and seeking revenge... Hate that type of immaturity! Hope it dissipates quickly for you.. M

~sigh~ I didn't think we were playing "casually" either. I thought we'd estabilished a relationship, and that the play was just an added fun-ness.

Ah well. Live and learn, and hope nothing comes of this.

This happens quite frequently actually. People meet at a party, everything goes ok. Or at least both parties think so. They part ways and someone decides it wasn't as great as it actually was. They file a complaint.
Good reason not to just play with anything on the spur of the moment. There is definately something to be said for controlling your hormones.

I would hesitate to say it happens "quite frequently"

I agree that good judgement should not be lost at the expense of hormones, however, as someone who frequently plays on the spur of the moment, it's not always a death knoll.

Guess you haven't lived where I do yet then. Never been in my position where people come to me complaining of exactly this instance every week.

So, I would'nt hesitate to say it.

Of specific official complaints and charges put against someone?

The "morning after" syndrome is certainly common enough, specially in newbies, but that's just drama and gossip.

Actually making legal complaints and taking action on it is something I have found to be uncommon.

There was a great article on this from the SandMUtopian back about 7 or 8 years ago. Wonder if there is anyone to contact to get permission to post it? Hmmm...will have to dig it out and see if there is any contact info for the author.

Correct, more people do whine on a daily basis. Saying something non consentual happened. Although they only press charges about once a month. Usually it is for rape.
