Here's my answer. It may well be disputed by others. Cumming - is the nickname for the act of ejaculating (ejecting fluid). ("Cum" is the nickname for semen.) Orgasm - the climax phase of the sexual act, that encompasses a broad range of physical reactions, including ejaculation ("cumming"). People will often say, "I'm cumming" when they are having an orgasm, so the two words often get used interchangeably. This has to do with the fact people have varied moods throughout the day and are not robots.
