I would actually find it annoying, because it disregards myself as a whole person and reduces my importance to filling an article of clothing.

Then 86 the whole boot thing.   If you are lucky enough to serve a Domme, it's something you could bring up as an interest, and leave it to her to use it if she chooses as a potential reward.

Still not really answered the question. Hypothetical: Come and serve Me. I own only "sensible" shoes, no boots, no high heels. (After having had one CD with a fetish for wearing high heels, who had more than 50 pairs! - no way I want to go there again). But ... you seem otherwise suitable for Me. So I say ... "It would make Me happy for you to serve Me on one condition ... you are not allowed to possess any women's boots and shoes, you are not allowed to eye off women wearing heels and boots, either in person or online, you will not touch My shoes nor My feet."  Again I ask .... could you? would you? And for how long could you remain satisfied as "your only need is life ie to serve as a sub" is being met?

In that case, I would suggest you are submissive who also has a strong fetish.  Your ideal situation would likely be a woman who also has this as something she enjoys being on the receiving end of. 

But, as Ms. Sonnet Marwood mentioned, don't bring this up as the sum of who you are but instead as an interest.  Get to know the woman and if you could serve her sans the shoes, then make that interest known and see if it can be incorporated into your play.

In slight counterbalance to the previous posts, my former submissive (and still good friend) is a boot bitch.
