ORIGINAL: trainedobedients Lately I am wondering about being caged like a dog. Master even suggests that I choose my own cage. But I wonder if fantasy is nicer than reality. How does it feel to be caged, how long can you be caged without phyiscal damage, what size should the cage be, can i sleep in it, is it only used for punishment or do you feel safe in it. I would like to hear experiences and advice from others. Thank you. If it's something that you might enjoy, the only way to find out is to try it. Some fantasies are never meant to be lived out, specially the ones that are dangerous to our health. First you have determine what size cage you are going to be kept in. If the cage is too small to stretch out in, you may experience muscle spasms from body constriction for long periods of time. If the cage is large-enough to be able to walk around, then it is simply like a jail cell. Are you claustrophobic? If you are, then this is not for you. I used to breed dogs with my ex-wife as a business enterprise, and we would regularly put our dogs in cages. The cages would vary from the 4' x 6' chain link variety to a small dog carrier similar to those used to transport animals by air. Sometimes we would put the dogs in cages just because they were a nuisance, or because they were just doing what dogs normally do. From what I understand about animal behavior, as opposed to human behavior, is that animals unlike humans do not have a sense of self, and thus they only live in the moment. Behaviorists do not believe that animals wonder if there is a God, and whether they will go to heaven or not; and if one is inclinced to believe in this theory, worrying about how long they will be imprisoned is not an issue. It's only that they are not happy, but will eventually accept their imprisonment because humans are the "top dog" in the heirarachy, and thusly will dictate the terms of their life. If you are considering being locked in a cage, please heed this warning: You MUST absolutely have trust in the person who holds the key to your release. That person must NEVER leave you locked in any form of restraint and then leave the premises, as this can be a recipe for disaster.
