Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN) for 6am. While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, he shaved with his electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG). He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI LANKA), designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE) and tennis shoes (MADE IN KOREA). After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA), he sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO) to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN INDIA ) he got in his car (MADE IN GERMANY) filled it with GAS from Saudi Arabia and continued his search for a good paying AMERICAN JOB. At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless day checking his Computer (MADE IN MALAYSIA), Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (MADE IN BRAZIL ) poured himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE.! France!!) and turned on his TV (MADE IN INDONESIA), and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in ... AMERICA.

Hello,
My first instinct when i saw this post was to laugh because it was funny. But it isn't funny...it is sad and it is true. Unfortunately too many people go with their first instinct and just laugh. My nephew just came back from Iraq with a broke left arm and no sight in his left eye caused by a roadside bomb. Oh he also has the memory of watching 2 soilders under his command die. The doctors can't do anything about that. Anyway.. the family held a Thank GOD your home party on memorial day. i went to wal-mart to get a flag..(something i should of already had). As a new thing i have been doing i looked to see where the flag was made. (After i found an American flag amonst all the mexican flags.) Silently dimissing the thought that it could be made nowhere else but the good US of A...but i still had to look. Parts of the flag. The red, white, and blue one.....was made in China.

yes, the only reason i put it in the "humor" section is i thought that the moderators would move it anyways

ps: though i have always been against the middle-eastern conflict, i am both proud of and gratified for the sacrifices your son made for our country and the liberties we hold dear

Psh...the french =/ At least he's got good taste in cars :D You shoulda said he had some trouble with his computer and called their help line (in India) lol
