Anne Rice's Beauty series was fun but way too much bum slapping for me.

Status: offline 		I write my own erotica and have some published on another site, Plan to finish this book someday and get it out there anyhow . I have not read any of ann rice. But I think the thing that stands out was a book I got that had short stories wrote in the 1800s they were alsome. Most of what they wrote wasent so much fiction but actual things they have heard of done themself.

Status: offline 		I did want to say and forgot. I also read and like the Gor series I havent read them all but they are pretty good. I'm not into that as a lifestyle but general reading. I read the story of O because I heard so much about it and was not impressed infact if anyone wants the book I would be happy to send it to you since I dont want it.

Status: offline 		I used to write my own stories and always enjoyed developing my ideas and seeing them come together (and re-reading them over and over) :-) Other than that, Akasha's Web (kudos to Akasha!) is my favorite site for amazing stories.

Status: offline 		I enjoyed Ann Rice's series a lot... although I did skim through a lot of the bits that didn't appeal to my tastes.

Personally, I go to http://bdsmlibrary.com/ for erotica. Some of it's crap, but some of it is well worth reading.

i have not read through a lot, like i am some major bookworm, but the best "i" have found, ..i found'a' author at literotica.com, about a first time experience between a novice male slave and experienced evil wicked mistress...i almost had an "accident" in my jeans as i went throught the story. it had 5 chapters and i had to uh,..go take care of myself after i finished reading it.

Status: offline 		"O" was my first erotic novel. I picked it up in a bookstore when I was still quite young -- 14 at the most. Nothing since has been as good, but see: http://www.asstr.org/files/Authors/Cait_McCarren. I wish she had written a lot more.

To work for me it has to be at least semi-realistic, consensual, and reasonably well written. There were some good ideas in the GOR novels but the writing is so bad it gives me a headache. I used to have a small collection of F.E. Campbell novels but the writing was poor and the typesetting was awful. The best part of those books was invariably Bishop's cover illustration.

the first erotica i ever read was the Penthouse Letters, which had a 'naughty' section. there was a story someone had sent in about some fairly brutal anal adventures. i first read that article over 20 years ago, and still have that same issue tucked away somewhere.

i write my own erotica, some of which has been published on various websites like Crystal Bridge and D/s World, and in some private MSN communities, like Deviants Domain. i've had a humor piece published in Carter Steven's BDSM newsletter. Little bits here and there. haven't written anything recently. a personal favorite is one that i wrote building on suggestions and ideas while in a chat room, which is called 'anticipation.'

Status: offline 		Though I like many of the stories already posted, the one book Historia Erotica has a short story in it called "Gods Wrath." It's one of the most interesting rape/seduction stories that I've ever read. It has enlighten my creativity.

The first story every to get me into thinking about BDSM is the western classic "McKlintoc" Staring John Wayne. It's the scene where the young man accusses the Dukes daughter of being unlady like and says she needs a spanking. Having her forced over his lap ready to spank, Wayne stops him only to hand the boy an ash shovel saying it would be more effective. Then there is the last scene in the movie where the Duke chases his red headed wife through town to straighten her out. And that's what got me thinking "Yup, that's how to be in charge of your women."

Status: offline 		A good place for erotica is Literotica.com it is a free story site, with a fairly sizable BDSM section. Since it is all user submitted, your quality varies, but there is a story rating system and some extreemely good stories within.
